Once again, specific measurements are not essential; a bit of estimation is required
– your preferred cake recipe
– your favorite frosting
– white chocolate or candy melts
Crush your cake into fine crumbs and slowly incorporate frosting, bit by bit, until the crumbs meld into a doughy consistency.
Shape the mixture into spheres and place in the freezer for about 20 minutes
Proceed to melt the candy melts or temper the chocolate.
I suggest opting for candy melts as they are extremely user-friendly. Simply heat them in the microwave and they are good to go. Chocolate can be more challenging to handle because if you merely melt it, it may not solidify properly, resulting in a lack of crunchiness.
Take the stick, dip it in chocolate, and then insert it into the cake ball.
Freeze for another 20 minutes before dipping the cake pops into chocolate.
Allow the chocolate to harden, and there you have it, gorgeous cake pops.
