Begun Bhaja is a Bengali snack recipe made by frying Eggplant in gram flour, lime juice and spices. It has a spicy and tangy taste that makes it irresistible. You can have as it is or with steam rice and dal. Do try it at home and share your feedback in the comments below.
Ingredients:-
1 Brinjal, sliced
1/2 cup Gram flour
1-2 tbsp Red Chilli powder
Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Juice of 1/2 lime
Oil for frying
Method:-
Slice the brinjal in a disc-like shape and soak it in water.
In a small bowl, add gram flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, lime juice and mix well.
Apply the masala on the brinjal slices.
Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry them on each side for 3-4 minutes.
Our Begun Bhaja is ready to serve.
