Ingredients for Garlic Butter Fish:
(Tsp- Teaspoon; Tbsp- Tablespoon )
Boneless Fish Fillets – 350 gms (cut into 3 inch chunks)
For Marination & Coating:
– 1/2 tsp Salt
– 1/2- 3/4 tsp Crushed Pepper
– 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
– Dry coating with:
– 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
Lemon Butter Garlic Sauce:
– 4-5 tbsp Butter
– Pinch of Salt
– 1/2 tsp Crushed Pepper
– 2 tsp Fine Chopped Garlic
– 1 tbsp Fine Chopped Parsley
– 1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
– 2 tsp Lemon Juice
– 2 tsp All-Purpose Flour
Preparation:
– Rinse and dry the boneless fish fillets and then cut them into 3-inch chunks.
– Apply the marinade ingredients, massage them onto the fish pieces, and let them rest for 15-20 minutes.
– Spread the all-purpose flour evenly on a plate.
– To coat the fish pieces, roll each piece in the flour on the plate.
Process:
– Heat a skillet and add olive oil or any other neutral oil.
– Place the coated fish pieces in the skillet, cook on medium-high heat for approximately 3 minutes. Flip the pieces and cook on medium heat for another 3 minutes. Once golden brown on both sides, transfer to a plate.
To prepare the sauce:
– In another pan, melt the butter.
– Add the minced garlic and sauté for a minute over low heat.
– Season with a pinch of salt and the crushed pepper, then add the all-purpose flour and cook for 30-60 seconds on low heat.
– Finally, mix in the lemon juice, chopped parsley, and red chilli flakes.
– Cook for another minute, then pour over the fried fish pieces.
