Amritsari Chole!!
Chole is one of the most preferred street food dishes in India.
Let’s grasp an easy way to learn how to make Amritsari Chole at home.

Serves 3-4
Preparation Time 10 mins
Cooking Time 30 mins
Ingredients
• Bay leaves – 5nos
• Cinnamon – 3sticks
• Black cardamon – 5nos
• Whole red chili – 2nos
• Tea leaves – 1tbsp
• White chana – 1cup
• Mustard oil – 1tbsp
• Cumin seed -2tsp
• Grated onion – ½ cup
• Ginger garlic paste -1tbsp
• Slit Green Chili – 2 Nos
• Turmeric – 1 tsp
• Red chili Powder 1 tsp
• Salt – 1tsp
• Coriander Powder – 1tsp
• Grated Tomato – 1/2 Cup
• Chopped coriander – 1tbsp
• Amchoor Powder – 1 tsp
• Anardana Powder – 1 tsp
Method
• First grate Onions and tomatoes in one bowl, separately keep them
• Now make small bag of masala in which add Bay leaves, cinnamon, Black Cardamom, Red Chili and Tea leaves
• Take a Pressure cooker Put white chana in that and add that small bag of masala and water and start cooking it.
• Now take a pan and pour Mustard oil, Cumin seed, bay leaves, black cardamom, Grated Onions, cinnamon and cook them
• Once Onion gets golden brown color then add ginger -garlic Paste, slit green chili, Turmeric, whole red chili Powder, salt, coriander powder, grated tomato and cook completely
• Now open the cooker and remove the small masala bag, but don’t waste Chana water, Now add chana in the masala mixer in which we are cooking
• For Amritsari Chole, make dry Powder masala in which add bay leaves, cinnamon, black cardamom, Javatri, Nutmeg, Shahi Jeera and make dry powder
• Now add 1 tbsp of chana masala which we just made, add chopped coriander, Amchoor Powder, Anardana Powder and cook for 2-3 min then it is ready
• Now serve it on plate once ready, now enjoy with Kulcha
