3 1/2 cups apple sauce
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Heat apple sauce in saucepan. Add cinnamon and lemon juice. Put in 10 X 6 Inch baking dish.
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix in butter.
Combine egg that is beaten with milk, mix well.
Mix egg mixture into dry mixture. Mix well.
Drop by tablespoons onto the how applesauce.
Bake covered for 10 minutes. Remove lid and continue baking for approximately 15 more minutes or until done.
