White Chicken Biryani:
Ingredients:
Boiled sela rice 750 gm
Chicken 750 gm
Boiled potatoes 4
Blended onion 1
Yogurt 1 cup
White pepper 1 tsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Whole red chili 8
Whole all spices 1 tbsp
Bay leaf 1
Nutmeg and mace powder ½ tsp
Blended green chili 7-8
Green chilies 10
Salt 1½ tsp
White pepper powder 1½ tsp
Oil ¾ cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Green cardamom 6-8
Water as required
Oil as required
Method:
• In a pan heat oil and add onion, ginger garlic paste, salt, yogurt and let it cook.
• Now add white pepper and boneless chicken to roast till the chicken tenders.
• Now add boiled potato, small green chilies, green chili paste, whole red chili, nutmeg and mace powder, small cardamom and lemon juice; simmer it for 5 minutes.
• Then in rice add salt, whole all spices and bay leaf. Boil it until al dente and then drain the rice water.
• Now in pan add half cup of water and 2 tbsp of clarified butter.
• Add half the rice in it after that add the chicken mixture and rest of the rice.
• Lastly add some clarified butter when it gets roasted.
• Serve it hot.
