Asalamualaikum all. I’m sharing some really simple and quick suhoor recipe ideas for Ramadan. For those who are new to Islam, suhoor is the name given to the pre-dawn meal that you have before beginning the fast. I hope you all enjoy the video.
Please feel free to adjust the ingredients to any of these recipes to suit your taste
Meal one:
Rolled oats
Milk
Bananas
Strawberries
Meal 2
Greek Yogurt
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
Frozen Berries
Meal three:
1 onion
1 bell pepper
chopped/cherry tomatos
one can of tuna in brine
2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
8/9 medium to large eggs
2 tablespoons of chicken stock (Jumbo Chicken Stock ‘Halal’)
black pepper
(CAUTION: Do not add any salt to this unless after tasting you feel you need to because the Jumbo chicken stock has enough salt to season without adding more)
Smoothy:
2 handfuls of baby spinach
one cup of apple juice or 1 medium size apple + one cup of water
Keep hydrated!
