Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert Recipe. So easy to make, you simply place ice cream sandwiches in a baking dish, spread whipped cream over the top, and finish with caramel and salted peanuts.

Ingredients
Original recipe makes 1 9×13-inch ice cream cake Change Servings
22 ice cream sandwiches
1 (16 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (12 ounce) jar caramel ice cream topping
1 1/2 cups salted peanuts

TIME: Prep: 20 mins; Ready in: 1 hr 20 mins.

Directions
Cut one ice cream sandwich in half. Place one whole and one half sandwich along a short side of a high-sided 9×13-inch casserole dish. Repeat until bottom is covered, alternating the whole and half sandwiches. Spread with half of the whipped topping. Pour caramel on top. Sprinkle with half of the peanuts. Repeat layers with remaining ice cream sandwiches, whipped topping, and peanuts. The pan will be full. Cover and freeze for up to 2 months. Remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving. Cut into squares.
