Creamy Chicken Alfredo with High Protein! 542 Calories | 65g protein | 47g carbohydrates | 12g fats
This pasta recipe has become one of my latest preferred ones, extremely uncomplicated, delectable, and a fantastic method to indulge your desires for creamy pasta while embarking on a journey toward shedding pounds!
Marinade for the chicken:
– Halves of chicken breast (about 300g raw weight)
– 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
– 1 tablespoon of Italian herbs
– 1 tablespoon of paprika
– 1 teaspoon of onion powder
– Dash of salt & pepper
– 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil
Thoroughly mix the ingredients.
Cook each side for approximately 5 minutes on medium heat.
Pasta:
– 120g of uncooked pasta (around 240g cooked weight)
– 1 teaspoon of salt
Creamy sauce:
– 200ml of low-fat milk
– 100g of light cream cheese (I opt for the lightest Philadelphia)
– 20g of parmesan or shredded mozzarella
– 1 teaspoon of Italian herbs
– 1/2 cup of pasta water
Upon adding to the pan, bring it to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and include the cooked pasta and chicken.
Garnish with parsley & parmesan.
