Ingredients
(for the batter)
2 cups of rice soaked in water for 4-5 hours
200 ml water or as needed
1 boiled, peeled and mashed potato
1/2 cup dahi/yoghurt
(the veggies & spices)
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp chilli flakes
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp jeera
1.5 tsp salt
8-10 kadi patta/curry leaves, chopped fine
1 medium-sized finely chopped onion
2 green chillies finely chopped
1 medium-sized carrot finely chopped
2 tbsp finely chopped hara dhania/cilantro
1 medium-sized tomato finely chopped
1 medium-sized bell pepper finely chopped
1/2 tsp baking soda
