Touchdown Dip Recipe
The Sauce Ingredients
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon pickle juice
2 dashes hot sauce
salt and pepper
1. Place all ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until well incorporated. Season to taste with S+P.
Touchdown Dip Ingredients
1 lb. Omaha Steaks premium ground beef
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup small diced onion
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 teaspoon smoked Spanish paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 medium Roma tomato, small diced
3 romaine leaves finely chopped
Tortilla chips or potato chips
The Sauce
Touchdown Dip Instructions Instructions
1. In a 8” cast iron pan on high heat, add vegetable oil, ground beef and seasonings; cook beef for 5 to 7 mins until browned and cooked.
2. Remove cooked beef with slotted spoon, and reserve; add diced onions to pan and cook until caramelized, about 2 mins.
3. In a large bowl, add cooked ground beef, cream cheese, 1.5 cups of cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, onions, heavy cream cheese and using a spatula fold in all ingredients until well incorporated.
4. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
5. Place cheese/beef mixture back into 8” cast iron pan, and top with remaining cheese on top of beef.
6.Cook in oven for 20 mins until bubbly and golden brown.
7. Finish with chopped romaine, diced Roma tomatoes, and drizzle The Sauce; serve with tortilla chips or potato chips.
*Recipe tip: can substitute extra cooked pulled pork, or shredded bbq chicken for ground beef.
