Ingredients :
small pumpkin to be cut into small pieces
1 cup of soaked urad dal
green chillies – 15-20
fresh coriander
coriander seeds – 1/2 tbs
salt to taste
asafoetida
oil to deep fry
put soaked urad dal into a blender and make it as medium soft dough along with green chillies. add chopped coriander and cumin seeds and salt to taste.
add a pinch of asafoetida also.
heat oil in a pan , drop the batter as pakodas
saute till they turn golden brown.
take them into a serving plate.
serve them with hot rice along with sambar or kadi or rasam.
it tastes very well with rice as side dish along with all items.
