This recipe is a budget-meal friendly. It can be served as a main dish or as a “pulutan” which best partnered with a freshly steamed rice or a bottle of beer. Serve it while it’s hot.
Ingredients:
3 cloves garlic
2 pcs chili
1 small-sized onion
1/2 cup of water
3 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 & 1/2 tbsp vinegar
2 tsp of cornstarch slurry (2tbsp water + 2 tbsp of cornstarch)
1/2 tsp sesame oil (optional)
600g fried tofu
7 pcs fried hard-boiled egg
topped it with spring onion and garlic flakes
