Tangy Paneer Burger | Crunchy Paneer Burger Recipe | Home cook paneer burger | veggie burger



For marinated peppers:
– 1/4 cup vinegar
– 1/2 cup water
– 1 tsp sugar
– 1 tsp salt
– 3 to 4 green peppers

For paneer burger:
– 300 to 400 gm spicy paneer or ordinary paneer
– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
– 2 tbsp corn flour
– 1 tsp cayenne pepper
– 1 tsp peri peri seasoning or any spice blend
– Salt and pepper to your liking
– 1 tbsp mixture of green pepper, garlic, and ginger
– Water as needed
– Crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs
– Oil for deep frying

For burger dressing:
– 4 tbsp mayonnaise
– 2 tbsp red pepper sauce
– 1 tbsp ketchup
– Black pepper to your taste
– Vinegar from pickled peppers


1. Preparing marinated peppers: Mix vinegar and water, then stir in salt and sugar until dissolved. Submerge the peppers in this solution and let it chill for 3 to 4 hours or overnight.

2. For the paneer burger batter: Blend flour and corn flour. Incorporate the spices, ginger-garlic-chilli paste, and salt. Slowly add water until you achieve a thick batter for coating the paneer.

3. Coat the paneer slices in the batter, then cover them with crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Deep fry to a golden brown hue.

4. Creating the burger dressing: Combine mayonnaise, red pepper sauce, ketchup, black pepper, and vinegar from the marinated peppers. Mix thoroughly.

5. Construct the burger: Spread burger dressing on toasted buns. Add marinated peppers, paneer patty, and lettuce. Spread burger dressing on the other half of the bun and sandwich the burger.
