It is very easy and quick recipe but the taste of this recipe is just awesome. Achari potol is little sour in taste because of mango. I have used some dry mango pieces for this recipe. I will show you this recipe step by step today. It is little spicy with thick tasty gravy.
Ingredients:
Pointed Gourd/ Parwal 300 grams
Kashmiri Chili Powder ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar very little
Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp
Chili powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder ¼ tsp
Coriander powder ¼ tsp
Cloves 4
Cardamom 3
Cinnamon 1
Whole Fennel and Fenugreek ½ tsp
Fry it with 1 tsp mustard oil
Chopped Onion 2
Green Chili 1
Chopped Tomato 1
Mustard Oil 3 tsp
Ginger & Garlic Paste 1 tsp
Smashed Ginger ½ tsp
Dry Mango 4 pieces
Soaked it in water before the cooking
You can also use ¼ tsp mango powder and 1 tsp lemon juice
