🥣 Ingredients :
1 savoy cabbage
1 onion
1 carrot
2 garlic cloves
220g cooked lentils |1 tinned lentils can
200g firm tofu
1tsp smoked paprika
1tsp ground coriander
1tbsp soy sauce
salt to taste
fresh dill
🥣 Sauce ingredients:
500ml | 2 cups vegetable broth
2tbsp tomato paste
100ml | 1/3 cup dairy-free cream
1tbsp soy sauce
1tsp paprika
1tsp cumin
salt to taste
1tbsp corn starch
🧑🍳Cooking tips:
❗Feel free to add your favourite herbs and spices to the recipe to get your favourite flavour.
🥣Method:
Use 1 savoy cabbage
Remove cabbage leaves
Pour fresh boiling water over the removed cabbage leaves, cover and set aside for 30 minutes.
Chop 1 onion
Transfer onion into a lightly oiled frying pan and sauté until translucent.
Add 1 diced carrot.
Stir everything together and cook for 3 minutes.
Finely chop 2 garlic cloves.
Add 220g | 1 tinned lentils can.
Mash 200g | 1 block firm tofu and transfer to the mixture.
Season with 1tsp smoked paprika, 1tsp ground coriander and salt to taste.
Pour 1tbsp soy sauce.
Chop fresh dill and add to the mixture.
Feel free to add your favourite herbs and spices to the recipe to get your favourite flavour.
Fill cabbage leaves with cooled down filling and roll them. Press with a paper towel.
To make cabbage rolls sauce, in a deep frying pan combine 500ml | 2 cups vegetable broth, 2tbsp tomato paste, 100ml | 1/3 cup dairy-free cream, 1tbsp soy sauce, 1tsp paprika, 1tsp cumin, salt to taste and 1tbsp corn starch.
Place cabbage rolls in the sauce and cook under lid for 20 minutes.
