I love making cheese balls for special events, they are great for appetizers, or even for a party. So easy to make. This contains two recipes from the blog.
Dried Beef Cheeseball

1 (8 ounce) packages Cream Cheese, softened
1 4 ounce packages Dried Beef
1 tablespoon Green Onions, chopped
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Black Pepper (optional)
Directions
Chop dried Beef. Save about 1/4 cup for rolling later. Soften cheese. Blend in remaining ingredients. Shape into a ball, and roll in reserved beef chips. Chill until needed. Set out about 30 minutes before serving time to soften.
Company Cheeseball

1 8 ounce package cream cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
4 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 tablespoons dry onions or green onion slices
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon steak sauce (A-1 Steakhouse, Or Heinz 57)
Directions
Let cream cheese soften. In a bowl beat all ingredients together. Blend mixture until it is smooth. Refrigerate several hours. Roll into ball and roll in nuts of your choice.
