Hey guys! It as been quite some time since I have made a $5 Dinners for you, so I thought this would be fun to make my favorite chicken recipes. All recipes and prices are listed below! I hope you enjoy 🙂
WASHING MEAT

CHICKEN & RICE
2 cups of rice .73
1 can of cream of mushroom .50
1 lb of cooked/shredded chicken 2.58
1 lipton onion soup mix .79
– bake/boil chicken and shred. cook rice on stove top or rice cooker. combine rice, chicken, cr of mushroom & onion soup mix. lay in 9×13 casserole dish and bake at 425 for 10 minutes
CHICKEN FRIED RICE
1 lb of cooked/shredded chicken 2.58
3 eggs
2 cups of rice .73
1 package of frozen veggies .89
soy sauce
-bake/boil your chicken and shred. You can cook your rice in a rice/cooker or boil on the stove top. scramble your eggs in the skillet and mix in rice, chicken and veggies. season with soy sauce and enjoy.
CHICKEN POT PIE
1 lb of cooked/shredded chicken 2.58
2 pie crusts 1.53
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup flour
1 cup of chicken broth .50
1 package of frozen veggies .89
-bake/boil your chicken and shred. in a skillet on the stove, combine broth, milk, butter & flour. mix together until the consistency is to your liking. add in veggies & chicken and stir. flatten down the crust into a pie dish and pour the mixture over the crust. lay the top crust over the mixture. poke a few holes in the crust with a fork and cook in the oven at the temperature of the box until brown.
RITZ CHICKEN
1 lb of cooked/shredded chicken 2.58
1 sleeve of ritz crackers 1.98 / 4 = .49 a sleeve
1 small container of sour cream 1.00
1 can of cream of chicken .50
3 tbsp of butter
-bake/boil the chicken and shred. combine with sour cream and cream of mushroom into a 9×13 casserole dish. crush ritz crackers on top of the chicken mixture and cut up butter on top of the dish. bake at 350 for 20 minutes
