Potato Cheese Balls / Potato Nuggets are easy and quick to make veg snack recipe at home during monsoons. These cheese balls are great party appetizers too!
Ingredients:
3 Potatoes, boiled & mashed
1 tsp Garlic, chopped
2 Green Chillies, chopped
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
1 Cheese slice, cut into pieces
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Method:
– In a bowl add mashed potatoes, chopped garlic, green chillies, black pepper powder, salt and bread crumbs. Mix everything well and make a soft dough.
– Grease your hand with some oil. Take out small portions of the dough and make a round. Make a small depression and stuff the cheese pieces. Seal the dough and make a round ball.
– Refrigerate these balls for 10-15 minutes.
– Heat oil for deep frying.
– Coat the balls with bread crumbs and deep fry them on medium flame.
– Once they turn golden brown remove them and serve!
– Potato Cheese Balls tastes best with mint chutney.
