Ingredients for Immediate Chicken Fry:
(Tsp- Teaspoon; Tbsp- Tablespoon )
Small pieces of curry-cut chicken – 500 gms
Marinade:
– 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
– 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
– 1 tsp Coriander Powder
– 1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder
– 3/4 tsp Pepper Powder
– 1/4 tsp Garam Masala Powder
– 1 tsp Salt
– 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
– 3 thickly chopped Green chillies
– 4 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves
– 1.5 tsp Kasuri Methi
– 2 tsp Lemon juice
– 1 large (100 gms) Half sliced onions
– 2 tbsp Groundnut oil
Tempering:
– 3 Green Cardamom
– 4 Cloves
– 2 pcs Cinnamon
Other Ingredients:
– 2-3 tbsp Oil
– 2 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves for garnish
Preparation:
– Slice one large onion into small slices.
– Chop the coriander leaves and cut the green chillies into one-inch pieces.
– Marinate the chicken with the mentioned ingredients and set aside for 30 mins.
Method:
– Heat oil in a pan and add the whole garam masala. Stir and then add the marinated chicken pieces.
– Sauté on medium heat for 2-3 mins until the chicken is slightly browned.
– Flip them and sauté on medium heat for another 2-3 mins.
– Flip the pieces again, reduce the heat and cover & cook on low heat for 10 mins.
– Remove the lid, flip the pieces again and cook on low heat for another 10 mins until the chicken is tender and browned.
– Remove the lid, stir, and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
