In today’s healthy breakfast idea, I am going to share a low-calorie meals made of dahi poha that you can add in your diet plan.

Single serving of this dahi poha is designed to give only 318 kCal. Such low calorie meals is ideal for breakfast or dinner or lunch in your diet plan for weight.
This is a gluten free recipe and may be added by people in their diet having gluten sensitivity and also by people with overweight or Obesity, PCOD/thyroid.
This healthy breakfast idea is being prepared with zero oil and hence it is zero oil recipe. Further this is one of the Quick and easy recipe as no cooking required while making it.
This is the first of its kind recipe being posted on YouTube channel.
So lets see how to make this recipe.

Ingredients for making of Dahi Poha

Rice flakes (1 cup) – 30 gm
Carrot – 60 gm
Cucumber (medium) – 100 gm
Green chilli – 2 nos or as per taste
Coriander leaves – 2 gm
Curd – 200 gm (12 spoons)
Groundnuts – 10 gm (roasted)
Salt as per taste

Cooking Method Dahi Poha
1-Wash and chop the carrot and cucumber into small pieces.
2-Wash rice flakes with little water and soak for 5 mins.
3-Choose think or thick rice flakes depending upon availability.
4-If you are using thick rice flakes, soak it for 10 mins so that it becomes soft.
5-Add the chopped vegetables into the bowl then add the curd.
6-Curd is used to increase the protein content of the recipe.
Generally, 200 gm standard pack low fat curd is available in the grocery for use.
If you are setting curd from cow milk at home, take 12 spoons curd approximately.
7-Add salt as per taste and mix properly.
8-Crush roasted ground nut into a mortar & pestle into small pieces and add it to the mix.
9- Adding roasted groundnuts can enhance the taste of the recipe to a new level.
10-Add half of the groundnuts into the bowl and mix. Use remaining groundnuts for garnishing before serving.
11-This will give a crunchy taste to the recipe.
If you are not eating groundnuts for any medical issues, use sesame seeds as an alternative or may choose to skip this step.
This is a very healthy and nutritious poha recipe that kids also would love. Since it contains more vegetables this is helpful for them too.
This healthy breakfast idea is fit for anyone who is running against time since it can be added as any meals of your day and can be prepared within 10 minutes.
