Sautéed Cabbage
8 Slices of Bacon – cooked & crumbled
2 Tbsp Butter
1 Small Head of Cabbage – sliced thin
1 Medium Onion – sliced thin
3 – 4 Cloves Garlic – minced
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
In large saucepan, cook bacon and set aside. Save grease.
Add butter, once melted add onions. Cook on medium heat stirring
occasionally until the onions start to brown, approx 10-15 minutes. Add garlic and
cook 1 – 2 minutes.
Add cabbage and cook stirring occasionally, season with salt & pepper. Cook until
cabbage has softened and starts to brown & caramelize Approx 20 minutes.
Add bacon & serve.
