This recipe is for 2-3 persons.
Ingredients:
2 John Dory fillets
2 tbsp butter
Juice of 1/2 lemon
4 tbsp seasoned flour
Boiled potatoes
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Preparation:
1. Clean John Dory fillets with water, then pat them until dry with a paper towel
2. Dust the fillets with seasoned flour (I use my favorite seasoned flour, called “Tepung Puteri” that I bought at the fresh market near my house), and then shaking off any excess
3. Melt a tablespoon of butter in a large frying pan (I use the non-sticky pan, called “Happy Call Pan”) on medium heat
4. Add fish fillets and cook for 2 minutes each side until golden, and tender, then move them to a serving plate
5. To make the lemon butter sauce; heat the frying pan again on medium heat, and then melt the remaining butter
6. Add lemon juice and chopped parsley to pan, increase heat to high, and then stir for 1 minute, until well combined
7. Once the sauce ready, spoon the sauce on top of the fish
8. Serve Dory Fillets with boiled potatoes and garnish with any vegetable you like, and some cherry tomatoes
