Whenever my mom made these steamed peppers with soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic, I always had 2 bowls of rice, I swear! 😆
Recipe:
shishito peppers
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsbp gochugaru
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 garlic clove
1 tbsp sesame seeds
3 tbsp sesame oil
1) Wash the shishito peppers and remove the pedicel.
2) Transfer the peppers into a bowl and add flour. Gently mix the peppers to get them covered with the flour.
3) Bring water to a boil and use a steamer to cook the peppers for 2-3 minutes.
4) In a bowl, add the steamed peppers and mix with soy sauce, gochugaru, sugar, garlic, sesame seeds and sesame oil.
Serve with rice and enjoy 🥰
