A chicken dish that is literally a burst of flavours, chicken do pyaza can be the perfect grand dish for your next meal.

Ingredients:
For marination-
– 500 Gms chicken
– Salt
– 100 Gms yogurt
– 2 Tbsp ginger garlic paste
For making gravy-
– Oil
– 4 Medium onions, chopped
– 2 Tsp turmeric powder
– 3 Tsp red chilli powder
– 4 Tbsp coriander powder
– 2 Medium tomatoes, chopped
– 100 Gms cashew paste
For tempering-
– Ghee
– 2 Tsp ajwain
– Sliced ginger
– 4 green chillies
– 2 Onions, diced
For garnish-
– 2 Tsp garam masala
– Coriander leaves
Method:
1) In a bowl add chicken, yogurt, salt & ginger garlic paste
2) Mix well & keep aside
3) In a kadhai, add oil & onions
4) Mix till the onions are nicely browned
5) Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder & coriander powder. Mix well
6) Add the chopped tomatoes & mix till they have blended nicely with the gravy
7) Add the cashew paste & mix well. Keep aside
8) In a separate kadhai, add the gravy mix & the marinated chicken & let them cook for half an hour
9) To make the tempering, get a tadka pan or frying pan & add ghee, diced onions, green chillies, ginger & ajwain
10) Once the onions have caught a slightly charred colour around the edges, remove the pan from the flame & add the tempering to the gravy
11) Add finishing touches to the recipe with some garam masala & coriander leaves sprinkled on top!
