Ingredients:
8 Boston Bibb or butter lettuce leaves
300 g lean beef, diced
70 g green and red bell pepper, diced
50 g purple onion, diced
1 cup water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped(optional)
10 g fresh garlic, minced
1 tbs white wine
1/2 tsp oyster sauce
1 tbs. soy sauce
1/4 tsp sugar
1 Kiwi, diced
3 g pine nut
1 tablespoon butter
To marinate the beef:
1 Egg
1 tbs. soy sauce
1 tbs. corn starch
Directions
Cut the beef into stripes, then into small chunks. Add soy sauce, egg and cornstarch for a quick marinade.
Dice red bell pepper, green bell pepper, onion and kiwi, set aside.
Smack the garlic with the flat side of a Chinese cleaver, give it a fine chop.
Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat, add the minced garlic, stir until fragrant, after the garlic turns brown, add the beef chunks, stir fry until the beef has only a little pink in it.
Add diced onion, red and green bell pepper, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, black pepper, pine nuts.
Placed beef on a single lettuce leaf, add kiwi, sprinkle some pine nuts, and it’s good to go!
