Healthy Recipes: Barley Salad & Oatmeal Banana Cookies

Barley is a member of the grass family. It is often used for health foods but can also be used in soups, stews, bread and salads.
Barley Salad is a healthy and delicious meal especially if it is combined with creamy avocado vinaigrette!

And also don’t forget to have oatmeal banana cookies for snacks! This is a Simple and quick snack to make. These combinations are just PERFECT!

Ingredients:
Avocado Vinaigrette
– Fresh juice (1 lemon)
– 1/2 ripe avocado
– Pepper
– Salt
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 2 tsp honey
– 1 tbsp water

Barley Salad
– 1/2 cup barley
– Mixed greens
– Tomatoes
– Dates
– Blueberries
– Sunflower seeds
– Raisins

Oatmeal Banana Cookies
– 1 cup rolled oats
– 1/2 cup peanut butter
– 1 1/2 ripe bananas
– 1/2 cup apple sauce
– 1 handful chocolate chips
– 2 tsp cinnamon powder

Barley adalah salah satu jenis biji-bijian yang berasal dari keluarga gandum. Biji barley juga dikenal sebagai jelai. Barley sering dijadikan sebagai bahan untuk masakan sup, roti dan juga salad. Salad barley adalah santapan yang lezat dan menyehatkan terlebih lagi jika dipadukan dengan cuka alpukat yang creamy.

– 1 buah perasan lemon
– 1/2 buah alpukat matang
– Lada hitam
– Garam
– 2 sdm minyak zaitun
– 2 sdt madu
– 1 sdm air

Barley Salad
– 1/2 cup barley
– campuran sayur hijau
– Tomat
– Kurma
– Blueberries
– Biji bunga matahari
– Kismis

Oatmeal Banana Cookies
– 1 cup rolled oats
-1/2 cup selai kacang
– 1 1/2 pisang yang sudah lembek
– 1/2 cup saus apel
– 1 genggam coklat chips
– 2 sdt kayu manis bubuk
