Nutritious Chocolate Fudge Overnight Oats — Just 4 Simple Ingredients! #nutritious #brief
Start your day with a breakfast that tantalizes your taste buds. These are my healthier 4 Ingredient chocolaty overnight oats. It has been one year since I shared these overnight oats that quickly gained popularity across my social media platforms on January 3, 2021. Within 365 days, I connected with over 270,000 new followers on Instagram and 850,000 on TikTok, and I deeply appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you for your ongoing support, you are truly the greatest companion a woman could wish for.
This recipe serves one person and these are the items you will require:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of rolled oats — I prefer quick cooking oats but any type of rolled oats will suffice
- 1/2-1 tablespoon of maple syrup or your preferred sweetener
- 2 teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa or cacao powder
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk or your favorite alternative
Kindly Note: Protein powder is discretionary, but you may require a bit more milk. I garnished mine with grated dark chocolate for a visually appealing touch, but you can also opt for some cacao nibs. Feel free to innovate and adjust the flavors according to your preference. It should ideally chill in the fridge for a minimum of 3 hours or overnight, and it can be stored for 3-5 days, allowing you to prepare in advance. I prefer not to calculate the calorie content as different brands have varying values, but my estimate was a total of 250 calories. You can savor them cold, which is how I enjoy them, or warm them up, although additional milk may be needed if you choose the latter.
Instructions:
Combine all the ingredients in a mason jar or a bowl if you don’t have a mason jar.
Thoroughly mix the ingredients and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until it achieves a pudding-like consistency.
Feel free to batch prepare in advance and relish.
