Sambali is a Turkish dessert with syrup made with semolina and has no egg, flour and oil in it. Similar to basbousa or what we call in Turkey “Revani”. 1/2 tsp baking soda
About 1/2 cup almonds
For the syrup
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups water
