One of the simplest desserts to make, sheera is packed with flavours & makes for a great breakfast or end-of-the-meal accompaniment!

Ingredients:
– 1 Tbsp ghee
– 1 Cup semolina / rava
– 2 Tbsp besan
– 1 Cup sugar
– 2 Cups milk
– 2 Tsp cardamom powder
– 4-5 Pistachios
– 7-8 Saffron strands
Method:
1) Add ghee to the pan,Once the ghee has melted, add semolina/rava
and besan
2) Keep stirring till the ghee has incorporated into the ingredients completely. It is important to continue stirring, as the semolina/rava might otherwise get burnt
3) Now add sugar
4) Mix till the sugar has blended well. Now add milk.
5) Keep mixing till the semolina/rava & milk have formed a nice semi thick mix.
6) Add cardamom powder and saffron strands
7) Mix again till the semolina/rava have thickened slightly.
8) cook for 7-8 minutes,
Remove onto a plate & serve hot for breakfast or as a dessert!
