I wanted to show you all the goodies I picked up from Kroger for our family of 5. It was a nice mix of fresh produce, meats, and carbs. We really enjoy the convenience of having our Kroger deliveries brought right to our doorstep.
Additionally, I thought I’d share a trio of delectable dessert recipes that are a hit at any gathering. You’ll find the recipes below along with the key ingredients I used:

Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter Brownies with added peanut butter chips: Recipe here
Peanut Butter Crescent Pinwheels:
Ingredients:
– 1 8oz package of crescent rolls (preferably sweet Hawaiian)
– 4 oz softened cream cheese
– 1/2 cup peanut butter
– 1 cup chocolate chips
– Honey for topping (if desired)
– Flour for rolling
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Roll out the crescent roll dough on a floured surface.
3. Spread cream cheese and peanut butter evenly, then sprinkle with chocolate chips.
4. Roll up the dough and cut into 12 pieces.
5. Place in muffin tin and bake for 8 minutes until golden. Drizzle honey on top.
Strawberry Shortcake:
Ingredients:
– 1 large angel food cake mix (prepared according to box instructions with optional almond & vanilla extracts)
– 1 8 oz package of softened cream cheese
– 1 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
– 2 8 oz containers of thawed cool whip
– 3 cups sugar
– 9 tbsp cornstarch
– 6 oz strawberry gelatin
– 3 cups water
– 6 cups strawberries, quartered
Instructions:
1. Prepare the cake mix as directed, adding almond & vanilla extracts.
2. Cool the cake and cut into cubes.
3. Make a strawberry glaze with sugar, cornstarch, gelatin, and water.
4. Mix cream cheese, condensed milk, and whipped topping.
5. Layer cake, glaze, and cream mixture in a serving dish, repeating thrice. Garnish with sprinkles and strawberries.
