Ingredients
Marination
Ginger Garlic paste -1tbsp
Lemon juice or vinegar -1tbsp
Salt-
Kashmiri Chilli Powder -1tbsp
Turmeric Powder -1/4tsp
Chicken -750 gm (3/4kg)
Gravy
Dry red chilli -8
Shallots -20 or onion -1 big
Ginger garlic paste -1tsp
Curry leaves –
Green chilli -3
Turmeric powder -1/4tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder -1tsp
Coriander powder -1/2tsp
Garam masala -1/2tsp
Tomato ketchup – 4tbsp
Crushed chilli flakes -11/2 tsp
Oil – for frying
Salt
Hot Water – 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup
Method
Marinate the chicken and keep in the fridge for minimum 20 minutes ..
Heat oil and fry the chicken and keep aside ..
In the same oil fry dry red chilli and keep aside ..
Heat 3-4 tbsp of oil ,saute shallots ,green chilli ,curry leaves ,salt and ginger garlic paste till translucent ..
Then add all powders and saute ..
Now add chilli flakes and saute till the raw smell goes ..
Then add tomato ketchup and mix ,saute for 5 minutes ..
Now add hot water and mix ,boil and check the taste ..
Add the fried chicken pieces and ,ix well..
Finally add fried chilli and curryleaves
so the tasty easy spicy chicken kondattam is ready to serve
