Chicken Afghani is a famous and tasty Afghani dish made using rich ingredients so the taste too turns out to be divine
METHOD
1.Chicken – 1/2 kilo, make gashes on it
2.Now we need to marinate it
First let us grind few ingredients
Yogurt – 3 tablespoon
Onion chopped – 1/2 small
Green chilies – 3
Almonds – 10
Cashew nuts – 10
Grind to a fine paste and add to the chicken
3.Add yogurt – 100 gram
Fresh cream – 50 gram
Crushed dried fenugreek leaves – 1 tablespoon
Homemade garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt as per taste
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
Black pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
Chat masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Mix and marinate for 1 hour
4.In a pan melt butter – 3 tablespoon
Add the marinated chicken pieces and roast well on both sides
5.Now add the left over marinade and again cook till it dries
6.Add water – 1/2 glass and cook under low flame till chicken turns tender
7.Add few coriander leaves
8.Give it charcoal smoke for extra taste, serve hot with parotha or roti
