📌Chicken & Dumplings:
• 6-8 chicken Legs or thighs
• 1(10.5-oz) can Cream of Chicken with herbs Soup
• 1(10.5-oz) can Cream of Onion Soup
• 1 (10.5-oz) can Cream of Celery Soup
• 4-6 cups Water (with added Chicken bullion to taste)
• 1 tsp badia complete
• Seasoning to your taste (salt,pepper, etc)
• 1 tbsp minced garlic
• 2 Tbsp butter
• 1/2 -1 cup shredded carrots
• 1/2 – 1 cupof heavy whipping cream
• 1 (24 oz)package of Anne’s frozen flat dumplings
Directions:
Add water to large Dutch oven or stock pot (add in chicken bullion and Seasonings). Let boil until chicken is cooked through. Once cooked through, remove chicken and let cool. Then pull chicken from bones and set aside.
To your chicken broth, add in the shredded carrots and cook for about 10 minutes. *Note: you might need to add in some more if some has cooked out*, then add in dumplings (I break mine into smaller pieces) a little at a time and stir to avoid sticking together too much. Once you have added in all the dumplings, add pulled chicken back into pot along with the garlic. Then add in all the soups (you can mix the 3 soups together first). Stir until well mixed.
Next, add in your heavy whipping cream, stir until well mixed. Then add in your butter.
Stir and let simmer until thickened.
Once they have cooked for about 30 minutes, you can serve them up and enjoy!
