Salt to taste

Moong dal/ split yellow lentils 1/3 cup
Fresh methi/fenugreek leaves 1 cup

tamarind paste 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder
Sambar powder 1 tsp
Hing/asafoetida
Curry leaves a few
coriander leaves a few
Oil 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds1/4 tsp
