📌SAUSAGE & CHEESE BISCUITS:
Sausage & Cheese Biscuit Recipe:
2 lb. bag of SR flour
1 stick butter (cut into flour)
2 lbs. Sausage (any flavor you like)
1 lb. grated cheese ( sharp & extra sharp)
1 quart buttermilk
Empty the whole bag of flour into a mixing bowl, then cut in butter until a slight crumble texture is reached. Then add in 1/2 of the cheese and 1/2 of the sausage, mix and until blended……then add in the remaining cheese and sausage, mix well then dump dough onto floured surface. Add flour & Kneed until the dough isn’t sticky. Hand pat until the dough is about 1 inch thick and cut into biscuits.
this will make about 18-22 depending on the size of the biscuit cutter (or glass).
Bake @ 350 for 30-45 (start checking at 30 minutes until golden brown.
Butter the tops and enjoy!
