Hi there,
Today, I’m excited to share with you a swift grocery haul of items that I’ve picked up, so I can create some recipes that I’ve been eager to showcase. These recipes all showcase crescent rolls and are straightforward to assemble. There’s one for the morning meal, one that serves as the perfect appetizer, and another that’s an excellent supper option.

Breakfast Pizza
Ingredients:
– 1 8oz package of crescent rolls
– 2 cups scrambled eggs
– 2 cups chopped breakfast sausage (fully cooked)
– 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
– 2 cups cheddar cheese
– Salt, pepper, and preferred seasonings
– 1 cup gravy*
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Press the crescent roll dough into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
Evenly spread the scrambled eggs over the dough. Then scatter the chopped sausage throughout. Top with parmesan and cheddar cheese, then add salt, pepper, and desired seasonings.
Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, until it turns golden brown. Drizzle with the gravy until it’s evenly distributed.
*Gravy Guideline:
1/4 cup butter (or other fat)
1/4 cup flour
3-4 cups liquid (I used vegetable broth)
Start by melting butter in a pot and quickly whisking in flour until it forms a paste. Then pour in the liquid one cup at a time to reach the desired consistency. Allow it to cook on the stove until it thickens.
Meatball Cupcakes

– 1 8oz package of crescent rolls
– 1/2 cup softened cream cheese
– 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
– 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

– 12 frozen meatballs
– 1/4 cup marinara sauce
– 1-2 tsp Italian seasoning
(I also used pizza seasoning from Trader Joe’s)
– Salt and Pepper
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Lay the sheet of crescent rolls on a floured surface and cut it into 12 even pieces. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, parmesan, cream cheese, and seasonings. Press the crescent roll sections into a greased muffin pan.
Add about 1 tbsp of the ricotta mixture into each cup. Next, top with about 1 tbsp of mozzarella cheese. Add 1 meatball per cup. Top with about 1 tbsp of marinara sauce. Sprinkle with extra seasoning if desired.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until golden brown.
