Paneer Matar Aloo
Ingredients:-
Paneer- 200g
Green peas – 1 cup
Potatoes- 1 cup(boiled)
Oil – 1 tablespoon
Mustard seeds- 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Chopped Onion- 1
Curry leaves- 1 sprig
Ginger-garlic paste- 1 teaspoon
Green chilies- 3
Turmeric powder- 1/4 teaspoon
Garam masala – A pinch
Chili powder- 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder- 1 teaspoon
Coconut and poppy seed paste – 1 tablespoon
Tomato puree- 1 cup
Water – 1/2 cup
Salt – To Taste
Sugar- A pinch
Method:-
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, onions, curry leaves, and salt, and sauté. Next, add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, turmeric, garam masala, chili powder, coriander powder, coconut-poppy seed paste and cook until oil separates. Stir in tomato puree, water and simmer until desired consistency. Finally, add green peas, boiled potatoes, paneer cubes and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and a pinch of sugar before serving with Poori or Pulkas
