Cook Time 45 min.
Ingredients:
4 skin on, bone in chicken breast
3 cups of rice
4 roma tomatoes or 1 140z can diced
14oz sausage
1 bell pepper
1 onion
tsp of paprika
tsp of garlic powder
tsp of onion powder
tsp of chili powder
tbsp of cajun seasoning
salt and pepper to tast
Directions:
Boil chicken breast in 6 cups of water with a tsp of chicken base for 30 minutes then let cool and shred. You can omit this step by using store bought chicken stock. Once you have chicken broth up to a boil add all ingredients and reduce heat to simmer for 45 minutes or until rice and veggies are tender.
