FULL RECIPE:
Ingredients:
Sugar – 1 cup
Water – 1 cup
Elaichi – 6
Milk – 1 1/2 cup
Coffee Sachets – 3 ( 2 rs. Packets )
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Bread – 6 slices
HOW TO COOK:
First in a wide pan, add 1 cup of sugar.
Further add 1 cup of water, elachi and then simmer it for 5 mins.
Keep the sugar syrup aside.
Chop down the edges of 6 bread slices.
Break/blend the slices into fine powder.
Heat milk in a pot until it thickens.
Add coffee powder to the thickened milk and stir it well.
Now add the thickened milk to the bread powder followed by ghee and make it into a smooth dough.
Make small balls by greasing ghee into your hands.
Deep fry the balls until golden brown.
Now add the fried balls to the sugar syrup and coffee bread Jamun is ready.
