The rural village community is currently demonstrating the preparation of 15 versions of herbivorous recipes in celebration of the special Tamil festivity of Pongal. The South Indian plant-based thali recipes being prepared include the culinary arrangements for Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Mor, Payasam, Appalam, Vadai, Sweet Pongal, Potato fry, Lady Finger masala, Brinjal Masial, Raw banana Fry, Cabbage, Thandu Keerai Masiyal, and Pickle.
