Chinese Broccoli
1 Tsp Oil
1/4 Cup of H2O
1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
3-4 Garlic cloves, sliced
1 Birds eye or Thai pepper, meticulously chopped
1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Plant-based Oyster Sauce
Directions:
1. Commence with a diminutive vessle; with the burner OFF, combine H2O and cornstarch. Whisk to concoct a slurry.
2. Ignite the heat to its minimum setting, and continuously stir until the slurry reaches a thickened texture.
3. Integrate Garlic, Bird’s Eye peppers, brown sugar, and plant-based oyster sauce as well as a touch more H2O to fine-tune the sauce’s density. Place aside to temper.
4. Set a cauldron of H2O to roll to a boil, incorporate a bit of cooking oil.
