Wholesome Banana Cake with Cinnamon Swirl Recipe

The optimal method to utilize those ready bananas you have on hand!!

Recipe:
-3 overripe bananas
-1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
-1/2 cup of granulated sugar
-2 eggs
-1 and a half cups of all-purpose flour
-1 teaspoon of baking soda
-1 teaspoon of cinnamon
-1/2 teaspoon of salt

For the Cinnamon swirl:
-3 tablespoons of melted butter
-3 tablespoons of brown sugar
-3 tablespoons of cane sugar
-1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Instructions:
Begin by preheating the oven to 350F.

Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl, then incorporate the yogurt and sugar. Blend the mixture before adding the eggs.

In another bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, folding gently to blend.

Transfer the batter into a greased 8×8 baking pan and sprinkle with the cinnamon swirl.

Bake for 40-42 minutes then drizzle with icing before serving!
