Pistachio Cinnamon Wreath
For the dough:
450g flour
7 g dry yeast
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp vanilla sugar
½ tsp salt
250 ml lukewarm milk
1 egg
600 g melted butter
For the filling:
250g Pistachio spread
125g finely chopped pistachios
80g sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
50g melted butter (if you like it moister)
For the glaze:
Orange marmalade
Mix flour, yeast, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Then add the lukewarm milk, the egg, and the melted butter. Knead it to a smooth dough. Leave it to rise for at least one hour. Knead the dough one more time, then roll it out until it’s approximately 25×60 cm in size. Spread the pistachio cream onto the rolled-out dough. Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon mixture as well as the finely chopped pistachios on top. Roll the dough up tightly and cut and braid it, as seen in the video. Bake at 180° C with top and bottom heat, for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. While the wreath is still warm, glaze it with orange marmalade. Enjoy!
