Hariyali Chicken – a delicious green chicken curry made in Indian style.
Ingredients:
500 g chicken(with bones or boneless)
1 +1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp kasuri methi(optional)
4 tbsp fresh yogurt
1 medium size onion fine chopped
2 tbsp butter(optional)
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp sat
1 handful of coriander leaves
1 handful of mint leaves
4 green chilies
1 tbsp lemon juice
5-6 tbsp oil
Method:
In a blending jar transfer mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies and lemon juice.
Make a fine paste
Heat a pan add oil, once oil heats up add whole garam masala, saute it for few seconds, add fine chopped onions, fry till they become soft.
Add chicken fry it nicely.
Add green paste and all powdered spices, fry well
.Add yogurt and kasuri methi, fry till water gets completely dry.
Add 1 cup of water, cover it with a lid and cook for 12-15 min till chicken gets tender.
Add butter(its optional)
Ready to serve.
