Traditional Bruschetta. #starter #italiancusine #antipasto #italy #toast #roastedgarlic

Simple Method: Traditional Bruschetta

• Cherry Tomatoes – 8 to 10
• Extra-virgin olive oil – 3 tablespoons + more for drizzling
• Fresh Basil – handful of finely chopped basil leaves
•1/2 teaspoon of flaky salt
•2 bulbs of garlic
•1/2 loaf of crusty bread

•Coat each side of the bread slices with olive oil and arrange them on a baking tray. Place in a preheated oven at 200°C and bake for around 8-10 minutes per side.

•Roasted garlic: Place the peeled garlic bulbs (2 bulbs) in a small oven-proof dish with oil. Cover and bake until the garlic cloves turn golden and tender, approximately 15-20 minutes at 200°C. Allow it to cool.
•In a large mixing bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, diced red onions, basil leaves, olive oil and salt. Let it marinate for a few minutes.
•Spread the roasted garlic on each slice of toasted bread, add mozzarella cheese, and top with the tomato mixture.
•Drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
Bruschetta is complete 😋
